What equipment do i need to use SatGate Internet service?

- PC with 64 Mb RAM and 100 Mb of free disk space;
- Dial-Up, DSL, ISDN or any other Internet connection for request channel;
- 1.5-1.8m aperture satellite dish with converter aimed at exact satellite;
- DVB-receiver with corresponding software.

How does asymmetric satellite service work ?

1 Requests sent to uplink's channel go from the client side and reach destination hosts.
2 Replies are being routed to the SatGate teleport.
3 Data is being incapsulated into DVB-stream by equipment in the teleport and transferred to a satellite.
4 Satellite transfers this DVB-stream to a client's earth station.
5 DVB-stream is decapsulated by client's DVB-card after the signal from antenna have been received.
6 Client receives reply from destination host.

How much does your service cost?

My internet connection doesn't work, what di I do?

Please check your request channel and your DVB-card's LOCK state.

The connection with your VPN server cannot be established. What do I have to do ?

Check your VPN connection to correspond to our manual at  VPN connection creation manual.

Signal is present but very low, what happened?

- Please check your recieving complex and your actual weather condition.

What is UTC?

- UTC - Coordinated Universal Time.

What is CET?

- CET - Central European Time, UTC + 1 hour.  Note that during summer daylight saving time/summer time is observed, and CEST is used instead..

How to pay by Electronic Payment Systems?

In order to pay by Electronic payment systems you need to login to your member's page and activate "Pay Now" link, then choose "VISA/Master Card, WebMoney (R-Wallet), Yandex.Money, E-Port, Kredit Pilot", enter the ammount of payment and press "Proceed" which will redirect you to Assist system's website, where payment type must be selected.

If you chose WebMoney you can make a transaction by acquiring an authorized or certified WebMoney wallet (R-Wallet).
You can authorize your WM wallet here and you can certify your WM wallet here. If you have a Z-Wallet (working with currency), you need to obtain an R-Wallet to be able to make payments for our services. You can exchange different wallet types at exchanger.ru. To pay for your purchase you need to enter your WM-identifier. In case of successful operation you'll receive an invoice from SatGate
