SlonAx 3G Technology

SlonAx 3G is the client-server application for the creation of an IP tunnel between a client’s computer and the service provider server. In general form SlonAx 3G is an analog to a standard IP tunnel on the basis of IP-IP or GRE protocol but at the same time it possesses some additional functions:

• SlonAx 3G allows a more effective usage of the link capacity while improving the performance of the large delays’ links such as satellite links, GPRS, EDGE.
• SlonAx 3G increases data safety by executing its own encryption and provides inaccessibility of data to other Internet users who attempt to obtain access to it via open communication links.
• SlonAx 3G intercepts TCP connections in the tunnel and optimizes some algorithms of the TCP transfer protocol such as slow-start, flow-control, congestion control.

There are two principal schemes of SlonAx 3G TCP accelerator usage:

1. SlonAx 3G work scheme using satellite Internet.
According to this scheme the client receives data via any satellite system and sends traffic requests using different Internet connections such as GPRS (EDGE), modem/dial-up, LAN, cable, xDSL.

2. SlonAx 3G work scheme using any of the terrestrial and/or mobile Internet connections of a client and an Internet provider.
