While using this connection scheme the client can send and receive data packets directly via satellite. It’s a complete ISP solution utilizing high-cost equipment and allowing the ISP to be completely independent from local terrestrial telecommunications providers. In many countries such activities are subjects of certification. To clarify all the certification issues you should contact local radio frequencies controlling authorities. Without proper certificate SatGate will not be able to provide you with Duplex solutions!
One-Way (Simplex) Scheme

While using this connection scheme the client can receive data packets via Satellite while sending request packets by any kind of terrestrial return channel such as Dial-up, ISDN, DSL, etc. The Downlink bandwidth can be five to ten times larger than request channels bandwidth.
This connection scheme allows to connect ISPs, companies as well as home users to SatGate Satellite Internet services. The customer can use any connection such as BGP [?], VPN [?], Static [?], Tunnels [?]. Detailed information about connection types can be found on "Setup” page.
In order to use Simplex connection schemes you’ll need a satellite dish [?], LNB converter [?] and a DVB receiver [?] PentaMedia [?] Pent@NET, Penta@OFFICE or TechniSat [?]: SkyStar-1, SkyStar-2, etc. The cost of the equipment can be less than $200 depending on your location.
