Reopening of Sirius-4 transponder B32 services

Dear customers.

Please be informed that due to force majeure circumstances caused by premature end of Astra-5A satellite operation in order to provide customers with quick solution for restoration of the services SatGate management succeeded in reopening of Sirius-4 transponder B32 services. SatGate service on transponder B32 on Sirius-4 will be provided not less than by 28th of February 2009.

Customers' subscriptions existed on Astra-5A satellite as of 21st of January 2009 are automatically moved to transponder B32 of Sirius-4 except of customers with static connection type. Note that for using of service it is necessary to reconfigure receiving terminals to Sirius-4 signal reception. For customers of Astra5A transponder 5.201, having connections via Slonax accelerator, it is necessary to re-select connection type in Personal Cabinet, otherwise service will not work.

Speed of connection on all tariff plans except Leechers on transponders B22 and B32 of Sirius-4 will be doubled.

Subscriptions of customers using "Leecher" and "Surfer" tariffs on Astra-5A are temporarily blocked to avoid to keep funds while service of Astra-5A did not work. For reactivation of subscriptions on Sirius-4 please contact technical support with providing of login name for the service.

Currently management of SatGate is conducting intense negotiations with SES-Astra and taking all possible measures for soonest restoration of the services in 31.5 East satellite position. Please follow the updates on our website.
