We are glad to inform you that SatGate will start to provide new service via  Astra 5A satellite system (31.5° East) on the 1st of September 2008.

Please note that within half a year from now SatGate will perform a complete gradual transition from Sirius-4 (both B22 and В32 carriers) to Astra 5A satellite system. Therefore the possibility to open new accounts on Sirius-4 (both B22 and B32 carriers) will be limited starting the 1st of October 2008. We encourage all Sirius 4 customers to switch to Astra 5A satellite system as soon as new service is launched.

Tariffs for Astra 5A services will be the same as they are now on the Sirius 4 ones. However, available speed for all Astra 5A tariff plans except Leecher plans will be doubled for the period from 1st  of September 2008 to 30th of November 2008.

All customers moving to Astra 5A carriers will receive additional bonuses at the moment of switching as follows:

• 30% of the current balance for customers switching to the new carriers during the period from 1st of September 2008 to 30th of September 2008;
• 20% of the current balance for customers switching to the new carriers during the period from 1st  of October 2008 to 31th of October 2008;
• 10% of the current balance for customers switching to the new carriers during the period from 1st of November 2008 to 30th of November 2008.

These bonuses will be given to those switching accounts created before 29-August-2008 from Sirius 4 to Astra 5A. We strongly recommend to all Sirius 4 customers to take care of antenna repointing to the new satellite position and DVB-receivers reconfiguration forehand. Please do not postpone repointing till late autumn/winter to face unfavorable weather conditions period to prevent difficulties and undesirable interruption of SatGate satellite service reception.
