Launch of the service via Sirius-4 satellite: Update
Please be informed that SatGate will launch two carriers via Pan-European beam of Sirius-4 satellite on 9-January and 10-January of 2008.

Please be informed that SatGate will launch two carriers via Pan-European beam of Sirius-4 satellite on 9-January and 10-January of 2008.
All accounts of the users working with Nordic beam of Sirius-2 will be transferred to the European Beam of Sirius 4 automatically on 9-January-2008. After successful transition the services via Nordic beam of Sirius-2 will be ceased. Carrier with central frequency of 12322 Mhz broadcasted via Sirius-2 will be disconnected on 3:30 UTC 9-January-2008. The new carrier broadcasting via Sirius-4 satellite with the same central frequency will be launched on 04:00 UTC of the same day. No changes need to be made in receiver's settings to lock on the carrier. However symbol rate and FEC changes need to be made on 09:00 UTC of 10-January-2008. Symbol rate is to be changed to 27.654711 MSPS, FEC is to be changed to 7/8.

After successful transition the services via Sirius-2 satellite will be ceased. Carrier with central frequency of 12015 Mhz broadcasted via Sirius-3 will be disconnected on 4:00 UTC Jan-09-2008. The new carrier broadcasting via Sirius-4 satellite will be launched on 04:30 UTC of the same day. Central Frequency of the new carrier is to be set to 12130 MHz and FEC is to be changed to 7/8 in receiver's settings.
