SatGate services are available via Sirius-3, EurasiaSat, Nordic Beam of Sirius-2 and Yamal-200-2 satellites. All these satellites are located on geostationary orbits and have long life-times. One of the advantages of Sirius-2 and Sirius-3 satellites is a use of BSS transponders, which have an ability to adjust their signal levels dependant on weather conditions in the location of our teleport in Sweden which guarantees better quality and reliability of the services.
The services are provided in DVB-IP [?] and HSSI Frame Relay [?] encapsulations. Digital streams are provided in Ku and C-bands [?]. Depending on the teleport from
wich the services are uplinked and provided in your region (Please see satellite coverage maps) you get access to the biggest IP providers’ networks such as TeliaSonera, BT Ignite, Glodal Crossing, KPN and Sprint.
