Nordic Satellite’s newest satellite launched on October 5 1998. Sirius-3 is a high-power satellite with the footprint covering Central and Eastern Europe. Unlimited services with guaranteed bandwidth are available from the Nordic beam of the satellite. Data transfer is being carried out using BSS transponders allowing adjust a signal level depending on weather conditions over the Teleport.

Sirius-3 has 15 active transponders able to carry Internet data as well as Video broadcast.  Satellite is built by Hughes Space & Communications in California.
