31.5 East SatGate services boadcasting renewal
Dear customers.
Please be informed about the renewed broadcasting of SatGate Internet services from orbital position 31,5East via Astra-2C satellite system.
SatGate and SES Astra have signed a long-term agreement for the use of four transponders on Astra-2C satellite system (orbital position 31,5East) until 2012. Astra-2C satellite provides stable coverage in central and south Russia allowing the signal to be received on 60 cm antennas. Astra-1G satellite will be added to the above orbital position in December 2009 for strengthening the SES Astra presence.
Commercial operation of Astra-2C service will begin today, June 1st 2009 at 15:00 UTC (18:00 EEST, 19:00 Moscow time). Effordable tariff plans are published on our site. All active sessions on Astra-2C will be forced to disconnect before the beginning of the commercial operation.

Please consider the actual beam coverage to be somewhat wider than the one stated on the map. The updated coverage map will be published later.
All clients having positive balance on Astra-5A accounts as of 20:59 UTC May 28th, 2009 will be given a 30% bonus. The bonus will be added on one-time basis, it can be spent by using Astra-2C service only and will not be a subject for recovery or transfer to any other SatGate service.
